Afriqiyah Airways was formed in April 2001 with substantial funding, and commenced scheduled services on 01 December 2001. The airline was created to link the AFRICAN continent, with regional, and Long haul routes, that are designed to connect AFRICA to Europe, Middle East, and Asia.
AFRIQIYAH is the Arabic word for AFRICAN, our modern ALL jet fleet are painted in striking colours of RED, GREEN, YELLOW, & BLACK reflecting the colours of AFRICA.
